What is Private Label Apparel?

Private label apparel means your apparel, your label, your look—built completely from scratch. This isn't decorating someone else's product. This is building your own.

From fabric selection to custom patterns, labels, trims, and packaging—KP Innovations helps you create exclusive apparel lines that reflect your brand at every level.

Whether you're launching a clothing brand, outfitting your staff in luxury gear, or designing merch your customers will actually want to wear—we bring it to life with precision, quality, and scale.

Why Brands Choose
Private Label

Most companies are done settling for generic blanks with a heat-pressed logo. Today’s top-tier organizations want gear that:

  • Looks as good as premium retail brands
  • Reinforces company culture, pride, and alignment
  • Matches their marketing sophistication
  • Differentiates them from competitors
  • Is built to last, not just for giveaways

KP Innovations helps you become the brand behind the brand.

What We Customize

Every stitch, trim, and label is an opportunity to tell your brand’s story.

Here’s what we tailor in every private-label apparel project:

1

Fabric Selection

Choose from a wide range of performance fabrics, natural fibers, recycled blends, and premium knits to suit your audience and wearability needs. We help you match the right fabric weight, texture, breathability, and stretch to your use case—whether you’re designing golf polos, lounge hoodies, or tech tees.

Popular options include:

  • Tri-blend and combed cotton for softness
  • Poly/spandex blends for stretch and durability
  • Moisture-wicking and anti-microbial for activewear
  • Organic and recycled materials for sustainability

2

Garment Fit & Construction

We build each garment with precision cuts and tailored silhouettes. You’re not limited to “standard” boxy fits—instead, we offer custom specs for modern, athletic, relaxed, or classic styles. We also guide you through construction details such as shoulder seams, collar types, hem length, and sleeve design to ensure the final piece reflects your brand identity.

3

Custom Labels & Branding Touchpoints

Elevate your apparel from promo to premium with fully custom brand tags:

  • Woven neck labels (flat or folded)
  • Heat-transfer care tags
  • Hem tags, sleeve tags, and inside locker patches
  • Custom hang tags for retail packaging
  • QR codes, barcodes, or product storytelling elements

We ensure your branding is consistent across every piece—visible where it matters and subtle where it counts.

4

Trim & Detail Customization

We offer advanced customization of finishing elements to give your apparel a signature look and feel:

  • Custom-molded zipper pulls with your logo
  • Embroidered or debossed buttons
  • Contrast stitching and color-blocked panels
  • Collar and cuff designs with branded taping
  • Embossed leather patches, rubber logos, and reflective vinyls

These small details are what elevate a garment from standard to standout.

5

Color Matching & Brand Consistency

Using Pantone Matching System (PMS) and approved swatch libraries, we ensure your brand colors are represented accurately in fabric dyeing, decoration, and packaging. Whether it’s the perfect shade of navy or your signature highlighter green—we lock in consistency across all apparel items, reorders, and styles.

6

Packaging & Presentation

Great apparel deserves great presentation. Every private-label order includes retail-ready finishing options:

  • Folded and bagged garments in branded polybags
  • Tissue wrapping, hang tags, belly bands
  • Custom boxes, welcome cards, and inserts
  • Individual name personalization, size stickers, or bundle labeling
  • Kitting services for event launches or onboarding gifts

We don’t just ship products—we deliver a brand experience.

FAQs — Private Label Apparel

Standard branded apparel uses pre-made blanks (like polos or t-shirts) that are decorated with your logo. Private label, on the other hand, means we custom-build your garment from scratch—including fabric, fit, trims, labels, and packaging. It’s a fully unique piece designed exclusively for your brand.

Our private label programs typically start at 100 pieces per style for basic custom polos quarter zips, hoodies, or tees. For more complex builds (such as outerwear, multi-item kits, or premium fabric blends), MOQs may range from 250-500+. All MOQs will be determined based on final design details.
